Local dancers head to world championships

Thirty-seven dancers, from throughout the Fraser Valley, will be leaving next week to compete for the tap dancing World Championships in Reisa, Germany.  Children auditioned from the Vancouver area to form tap teams from Western Canada. The teams have been taking technique classes since June and have been cleaning and rehearsing their routines since September.
