We can use the following, but request that hard copy be supplied (faxed) as well, whenever possible: * CD Ads must be created in QuarkXpress or MultiAd Creator. Fonts and artwork must be included. E-mail attachments must not exceed 2 MB. Our E-mail address is: prepress@reddeeradvocate.com File Format The software we use for ad composition is: * QuarkXpress * Multi Ad Creator Graphic programs include: * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe PhotoShop PDF files can be easily processed and are our preference. Postscript Screen AND Printer Fonts must accompany any files unless they are PDF or Postscript files with fonts saved as curves. Fonts will be used ONLY to enable us to print the file. The file should adhere to the current Red Deer Advocate sizes. Any graphics used in the file should also accompany the ad. That is to say the, original graphics created in Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop etc. should also be with the ad, unless the file is a PDF file. We can provide you with the information you require about graphics/pictures to enable your ad to appear in the Red Deer Advocate in the best possible way.
